Keynote Speaker: Tim Kinard, PhD – Power Play
Timothy A. Kinard, Ph.D., is an associate professor of early learning in the Curriculum & Instruction department at Texas State University. A former preschool, pre-K and kindergarten teacher, Tim currently researches taken-for-granted notions about childhood, teaching and learning and co-runs a multilingual program where preservice teachers and 3- to 7-year-olds make discoveries together through constructive play, sociodramatic play and storytelling in a public school.
